Thinking of moving to the Foothills?

If you are considering a move to the Colorado Foothills, Jackie is an excellent resource! She is a foothills resident herself, and can provide expert guidance on the best neighborhoods to suit your needs. Here are few of the neighborhoods Jackie recommends.

Homestead

  • Located in the Morrison Foothills with easy access to Highway 285. Only 30 minutes to downtown Denver and the Denver Tech Center.
  • This neighborhood has homes on both the north and south sides of Highway 285.
  • South side homes were built in the late 1970s, most are on about 2 acres of land, there is an HOA with dues of about $100/year.
  • North side homes are larger and newer, built between in the 1990s early 2000s. These homes have covenants, but no HOA. They are on 2-3 acre parcels.
  • All homes have a septic system, and most tap into Homestead Water Company providing treated water through deep wells and treatment centers.
  • Schools: Parmalee Elementary School or Marshdale Elementary, West Jefferson Middle School, Conifer High School

Hilldale Pines

  • Located in the Morrison foothills with easy access to 285 via South Turkey Creek Road.
  • Many homes have views of snow capped peaks, such as Mt Evans, or of city lights. Sometimes both!
  • Most homes are on lots about 1-2 acres in size.
  • Homes are on well and septic. Some have propane and a few have natural gas.
  • The neighborhood does have an HOA. Neighborhood entrance, playground, and picnic spot is maintained by HOA and is a social hub.
  • All roads are paved and county maintained.
  • Schools: West Jefferson Elementary, West Jefferson Middle, Conifer High School

Kings Valley

  • Located conveniently off 285 in Conifer.
  • Most homes are on about a half to one acre sized sized lot. Many homes have unique rock outcroppings and those higher on the mountain have views of Pikes Peak.
  • Water and sewer service provided by Mountain Water and Sanitation. Some homes have propane and a few have natural gas.
  • There is no HOA for the neighborhood.
  • All roads are paved and county maintained.
  • Schools: Elk Creek Elementary, West Jefferson Middle, Conifer High School
